The government and the Progress Party agreed on changes to the latest package of measures. This is stated in a press release from the parties.
– The crisis of the crown is far from over, but the crisis has ended in a new phase. So it’s important that we change the measures so that they have the best possible impact, says Conservative Party fiscal policy spokesman Mudassar Kapur, who has led the negotiations at the Storting.
The case is finally being considered by the committee this week, he says.
The agreement means that the air passenger tax will be eliminated throughout the year. At the same time, the so-called low VAT of six percent will continue.
The government also claims that an additional NOK 160 million will be allocated to the self-employed and self-employed compensation plan, which will run throughout the year. On November 1, however, it will drop to 60 percent.
FRP has also received approval to increase allocations for county road maintenance by NOK 400 million.

Furthermore, Krohn Devold points out that the new compensation scheme that is being designed will be the most important for the survival of tourism companies.
– However, the content of the compensation plan for tourism, which is the most important for survival, is still unknown. You need to be concrete before you can tell that a package is ready, says Krohn Devold.
Ivar Horneland Kristensen, CEO of Virke, is pleased that the majority of the government has agreed.
– We are very positive with the proposals and especially with the VAT. That’s worried us and we’re glad he’s in his place, Kristensen tells E24.
Temporary Grant Program Coming Soon
Dialogues on the details and premises of the scheme took place on Wednesday and Thursday of this week and will continue in the next.
