Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry said Thursday morning that the country’s forces carried out “crushing attacks” against Armenian positions overnight. The leaders of the escapes in Nagorno-Karabakh describe the situation along the border as very tense and say that during the night violent gunfire was fired from both sides.
Russia and France have urged the parties to suspend hostilities, but so far both Armenia and Azerbaijan have rejected all calls to come to the negotiating table.
