The numerous disruptions, most of them from Trump’s side, marked the first debate Tuesday between the two US presidential candidates. Biden was interrupted several times by Trump, before he managed to complete the sentences.
It is clear that “additional structures must be added to the format of the remaining debates to ensure a more orderly discussion,” says the inter-party commission that organizes the duels.

The chairman of Tuesday’s 90-minute debate in Cleveland, seasoned television journalist Chris Wallace, fought hard and repeatedly rebuked Trump for interrupting Biden.
One of the changes that the commission is considering now is whether the president in future debates will have the opportunity to turn off the microphone when the candidates do not respect the rules and stick to the allotted airtime.
The next debate between Trump and Biden will take place on October 15 in Miami, Florida, one of the undecided states where the outcome can be very decisive for the outcome of the November 3 elections.
Prior to the Florida debate, Vice President Mike Pence and Democratic hopeful Kamala Harris will meet for a debate in Salt Lake City, Utah, on October 7.
The third and final debate between Trump and Biden will take place in Nashville, Tennessee, on October 22.
