Nardo Bil sells the Jaguar. Type F is for sale from Finn for NOK 1.75 million. Dagbladet has received confirmation that it is Northug’s car.
– We originally sold the car to Petter Northug and therefore it is only natural that we will sell it again, says Rune Wang-Henrichsen, group manager at Nardo Bil, to Dagbladet.
Petter Northug’s attorney, Halvard Helle, will not comment on the sale:
– I can’t comment on that.
– Has there been further contact between you and the police in the case in question?
– I can’t comment on that.
Stopped after rough driving
Petter Northug was stopped at high speed on the E6 in Ullensaker on Thursday August 13 this year. Then a patrol had measured the car Northug was driving at 168 km / h:
“I’m not sure if it was a checkpoint or the patrol noticed the car, but I can confirm that it was Northug who drove,” Operations Manager Tom Sandberg told Dagbladet.
Just over a week later, Northug came forward and admitted he was having trouble:
– It is something that is far from admitting. I have a serious substance abuse problem that includes alcohol, drugs, and pills. I have not taken it seriously and hid it from those around me.
– I felt like garbage
Final phase
Police are still investigating the case against Northug, who is charged with reckless driving and cocaine storage, but confirmed last week that the investigation is drawing to a close:
– The case is in the final part of the investigation and will be sent for a court decision after this, Ekeberg tells NTB.
