At 10:35 p.m. Sunday night, the Eastern Police District reported that there had been a collision between a motorist and a cyclist in Kløfta.
The course of events was unknown for a time, but at 11:30 pm, the task leader in the Eastern Police District, Andreas Paulsen, recounted what happened.
– The cyclist explained to us that he had pedaled in such a stupid way that the motorist could not because of the traffic accident, says Paulsen.
The motorist, who is a man in his 50s, initially had a duty to yield to the cyclist’s man, who was a man in his 20s.
– The cyclist was not intoxicated and was unscathed from everything. I didn’t want a case to be opened against the driver, so we left the case alone.
The reason for the clumsiness on the bike must have been a train that the cyclist had to take. He didn’t take that train.
