The extent of the damage is currently unknown, but one person was airlifted to Ullevål hospital after being trapped.
(Romerikes blad): At 21:41 on Friday evening, the Eastern Police District reported a collision accident between two cars in Eggervegen by Felleskjøpet in Eidsvoll.
Police said early on that everyone involved in the crash was awake. Soon after, the police update that a person is trapped and must enlist the help of the fire service to remove the person. So far the severity of the injuries is unknown.
– The accident turned out to be more serious than previously thought, but so far I have no knowledge of how serious personal injuries can be, says Operations Manager Tom Sandberg in the Eastern Police District.
The road is closed at the scene and emergency services are working to help the injured and clear the road.
At 9.50 pm, the service manager at the East 110 headquarters, Frode Johannessen, can say that all emergency services have arrived at the scene.
– I do not want to say anything about the extent of the damage, but the road will be closed while we are in place.
25 minutes later, the police report on Twitter that the person is being transferred to Ullevål hospital. A passenger is also taken to the emergency room for a checkup.
