Laila Anita Bertheussen is the partner of former Justice Minister Tor Mikkel Wara (Frp). Among other things, she is charged under article 115 of the Penal Code.
The antecedent of the accusation is several episodes of the winter of 2018/19 where, among others, the then Minister of Justice Wara was threatened. According to the indictment, FRP politicians, Ingvil Smine’s Tybring-Gjedde and Christian Tybring-Gjedde also received threatening letters.
Bertheussen criticized the Black Box Teater in Oslo for filming his home for the performance Ways of seeing.
According to the prosecution, Bertheussen must have made the threats to give the impression that they came from one or more people behind the work. Ways of seeing, possibly from people who sympathized with the content of the work. Bertheussen denies criminal guilt.
The case began in the Oslo District Court on Tuesday, September 8. The last day in court is October 23.
On Friday, September 25, Bertheussen will answer the prosecutor’s questions about the cloth straps behind the car and his driving in February 2019. The prosecutor will then ask about the sheets and gunpowder in the couple’s mailbox.
