This was Bjørgen’s “return” after the last delivery. Bjørgen has said that he trains for some long-distance races this season under the wings of Team Ragde Eiendom. It was the latter who organized the skating rink that ran from Årnes in Sørkedalen to Tryvannstårnet.
Johaug believed that Bjørgen had a creative career.
– I took all I could, Johaug told NRK.
I was impressed by Bjørgen’s efforts.
– It’s raw. There’s nothing more to say. He has been out of the circus for two years and the training is new. Even though it has gone fast before, you have to lay off a job. I think Marit is doing well. I’m an elite athlete so I should beat her, says Johaug.
Bjørgen was satisfied with her own efforts and feels that she is on track with what lies ahead.
– I think it went well this fall. I’ve been on some of the long drives with the guys from Team Ragde and have received positive responses. I have received positive responses, but I have no idea how is the level of the feminine side. So I don’t know how fast you have to go, says Bjørgen.
