Just when they had finished with the orange hazard warning and the storm, a new bad weather awaits them, especially in the north.
– The worst storm has subsided and the worst flood hazard has subsided. But already tomorrow morning, afternoon and evening, there may be another storm in the northernmost parts of Nordland and Troms, Meteorological Institute duty officer Eirik Samuelsen tells Nettavisen.
From Monday to Tuesday night, there was an orange warning in Troms, but it has now been adjusted to yellow.
Samuelsen, however, has a clear warning for affected residents who have just witnessed the storm that was.

– We recommend everyone to take the precautions that a storm brings. There has been a storm in the same area, and if it hasn’t, you should secure all loose items, says the state meteorologist.
He says gusts of 27 to 35 meters per second have been forecast, and that it is especially coastal areas that are affected.
– The storm will affect both Lofoten, Vesterålen and the outer areas of Troms. Plus, Samuelsen says.
However, it is not only the northern regions that will have to do with the weather gods.
– On Wednesday, there will be rainfall in most of the country periodically. It will come in the form of rain in the lowlands, but here in northern Norway we have recently seen snow at 600 meters of altitude. This will likely increase somewhat in the next few days, he says.

Hazard warning inside
But Wednesday through Thursday nights, it won’t just rain in buckets and buckets in the north. Locally, indoors, it can exceed 40 millimeters in one day.
Therefore, meteorologists have been forced to send a yellow warning to the county.
Samuelsen says it is not yet clear whether the hazard warning will be extended to other parts of eastern Norway.
– So far we have not done anything, but we will make assessments as we take a closer look at the details for the next few days, believes the meteorologist.
