* Laila Anita Bertheussen (55) is accused of attacking democracy through fires, damages and threats against important politicians, including her partner, the then Minister of Justice Tor Mikkel Wara (Frp).
* She denied being guilty of all 15 indictment charges when the case began in Oslo District Court on September 8. Both Bertheussen and her defender, lawyer John Christian Elden, believe that the Police Security Service (PST) has been one-sided and characterized by tunnel vision, and that there are others behind it.
* On Tuesday, Bertheussen will explain two threatening letters: one that was sent to the couple Ingvil Smines Tybring-Gjedde and Christian Tybring-Gjedde, and another that was sent to her and Wara.
* According to the prosecution, both letters date from the same day in late January of last year. The letters were made up of fragments of text from an interview with one of the actors in the play “Ways of seeing.” Both letters were marked.
* Tor Mikkel Wara was then Minister of Justice and Ingvil Smine’s Tybring-Gjedde was Minister of Social Security. Christian Tybring-Gjedde was also then a parliamentary representative of the Progress Party. The couple will explain themselves in court on Wednesday.
* The youngest daughter of the Bertheussen / Wara family will also be explained on Tuesday. It happens via a video link from London.
* The case is scheduled to last until mid-November, but is well advanced after the first two weeks.
