E6 is closed in Storforshei, north of Helgeland, due to heavy rains, writes NRK. The Nordlandsbanen is also closed between Mo i Rana and Dunderland. Several places in Nordland have been notified of up to 100 millimeters of precipitation during a day, and warnings of floods and landslides have been sent.

Several speedboats and ferries were canceled due to the storm. This includes five of the six ferry connections on county road 17 in Nordland, the so-called coastal road from Bodø and the south.

On Monday afternoon, the hazard warning was updated to the orange level. Southwest and later western storms are expected, with gusts of 30-35 seconds. The worst will be beyond North Salten and South Troms.

A violent storm in the Tromsø area has caused power outages for 1,097 customers in the municipality. Several trampolines and other loose objects have been thrown on the roads.

In addition, the snow line in Nordland has been reduced to 600 meters. This means that motorists passing through Saltfjellet and Beiarfjellet should prepare for winter weather. So far, however, no one is crossing the mountain from the south, due to the aforementioned E6 closure.
