At the government press conference on Tuesday, Labor and Social Affairs Minister Torbjørn Røe Isaken was able to say that the government is making an adjustment in the rules for days of care.

– Most schools and kindergartens are open. But at the local level, it may be necessary to close entire schools or parts of the operation, whether for classes, stages or groups, says the minister.
He says some parents may have already used up the extra care days they were given earlier this year due to coronary restrictions.

To take advantage of the new scheme, the Minister of Labor says that parents should ask the school or kindergarten for a written confirmation that they can present to the employer, and that they will have it covered by the National Insurance System.
