Norway has now exceeded the infection requirement for Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia and is therefore at great risk of being stained red.
Norwegians traveling to these countries have already been quarantined when they arrive. But now they can also dissuade their citizens from traveling to Norway.
- This is required by: Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia advise against traveling to countries with more than 25 cases of infection per 100,000 inhabitants in total in the last 14 days.
And Norway is now up to 28.35, according to recent figures from the European Infection Control Agency ECDC.
It is the highest since April 18.

Lithuania removed the quarantine requirement for Norwegians on Monday, because they raised the limit from 16 to 25. But now Norway has also passed 25.
There are ECDC figures that these countries use when evaluating advice for Norway. If the number remains that high, Norway is in great danger of being “colored red” the next time countries update their recommendations.
Lativa you have no plans to raise your limit. People from Norway still need to be quarantined if the number is over 16, but they first warn their own citizens not to travel to Norway if we are over 25.
In any case, the increase in infections in Norway will have no consequences for Rosenborg’s trip to Latvia, where they will face Ventspils in the Europa League qualifying round on Thursday. This is confirmed by the general director of Rosenborg, Tove Moe Dyrhaug, to VG.
All travelers will be screened before departure and after landing in Latvia.
Changes are also taking place in Finland.
Finland has colored Norway red, because we were above its limit of 8 infected per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 14 days. As of Saturday, however, they also raise the limit to 25, and have already decided that Norway will go green again (although we are now formally above 25).

If Norway colors a country red, everyone who comes from there must be quarantined in Norway.
When the Norwegian government updates Norwegian councils this week, all of Denmark will turn red. And Stockholm will turn yellow and open.
