The case is being updated.

At 11:33 p.m. on Monday evening, the police were notified that a man had disappeared from an institution in Ålen. A search operation was finally launched and, at 0630 hours, the man had not yet been found.

– Norwegian rescue dog crews, Red Cross crew, fire service drones, our own police dogs and two police patrols contribute to the search, Police Operations Manager Trond Volden said early Tuesday morning.

You can also use a Sea King helicopter to search at dawn. However, at 06.30, there was too much fog in the area.

Violence says police want clues from the public.

– We’d like to come up with a description. The man is dressed lightly and can only wear shorts and a T-shirt. People need to keep their eyes open and take a look at garages or stalls where they may have entered. There will be seven to eight degrees, rain and wind in Ålen, and we hope it has taken a place, reports Volden.

The operations manager notes that even motorists who were on the road last night may have seen something interesting for the police.

He adds that the police come out with information in consultation with relatives. The police want clues on the phone 73489400.
