The municipality of Bergen will report on the worrying situation of the crown.

In recent days and weeks, the municipality has had a dramatic increase in the number of infection cases. This prompted the Bergen municipality to introduce new measures earlier this week.
– Most cases of infection have increased considerably in Bergen and are related to students. That is why we implemented measures in dialogue with FHI, said Councilor Roger Valhammer (Labor).

On Saturday morning, Bergensavisen writes that three people have been admitted to Haukeland Hospital and that there is an increase of two admissions from the day before. It was also reported that three school classes in Askøy were quarantined after four people were diagnosed with coronary heart disease.
Heslsebyråd Beate Husa said on Tuesday that the situation is critical and now the municipality is urgently calling a press conference. The aforementioned Husa and Valhammer will be in attendance, as will Medical Director Trond Egil Hansen.
