The NRK debate leader admits he could have avoided the “blah-blah question.”
On Monday, there was a discussion on NRK1 about minimum pensioners under the title “Trygdeoppgjøret”, where the topic was “minimum pensioners”, who after a long life are rewarded with payments of less than 200,000 crowns a year.
“For the fifth time in six years, one million pensioners will have negative purchasing power. Is it because you have been working all these years and have built this country? », It was asked before the debate.

Holistic
One of those who participated in the debate was Labor leader Jonas Gahr Støre. At one point, the party leader said that “a comprehensive review” of the problem of minimum pensioners had to be done.
– Many people can reach a situation where they can lose other rights, such as the benefit of housing, etc., so it is important to consider the whole situation of these people. Young people can turn around and adapt to you. Older people can’t do that, Støre said.

Then Solvang asked:
– Don’t you think that a minimal pensioner who sits and listens to this now only thinks “blah-blah-blah”?
– I have made it very clear that this group of people must have adequate control in order not to fall into a permanent poverty trap, Støre replied.

sorry
However, on Twitter Monday night, Solvang apologizes for Støre’s question.
“I could have saved myself the blah-blah question on #nrkdebatt. Sorry a little, it got away from me. Sorry @jonasgahrstore,” writes Solvang.
On the Twitter thread, Solvang develops his self-criticism by writing that the question was “very strict.”
Støre has so far not responded to Solvang’s tweet.
Criticism SIAN
By the way, it hasn’t been long since the NRK debate leader was in bad weather for the last time. As recently as last week, Solvang came under fire for inviting SIAN critics of Islam to the debate study.
