In mid-March, during the Norwegian shutdown, Kampanje wrote that NRK dropped the audience while recording programs like “New again”, “Lindmo”and “All against 1”.
In other words, all the jokes were told next. “New again” greeted with deafening silence in the television studio, rather than outright laughter, as television audiences are used to.

NRK can now report that the audience – and hopefully the laughter – is back in the studio when the “New on New” season kicks off at 9.30pm on NRK on Friday.
Is the host Bård Tufte Johansen brilliantly happy with.
– It was strange and strange not having the audience in the studio, so we hope to have people in the hall again. Although they are so few that we can feel that we are below average, says the presenter from Kampanje.
This time, the audience will be much smaller than before the corona pandemic hit Norway; Since the editorial board of “What’s New” follows the recommendations of the infection control authority, they only have space for 37 spectators in the room, instead of 170, as is often the case.

– Thrown into small pools
– We closely follow the advice of the authorities and have therefore chosen to open ourselves to a limited number of spectators who comply with the distance rules that apply. We hope people visit us whom we can entertain, says NRK project manager Kjetil Kooyman to campaign.
In addition, he says the editorial staff also follow a number of infection control measures during production.
– Among other things, the public waits outside and is allowed to enter smaller pools after taking a shower with isopropyl alcohol. We are also very careful about distance, hand washing and disinfection both in the studio and in the writing, he says.
Kooyman says he doesn’t have a complete description of how many tickets have been sold for the filming of the first episode.
– We hope it is full when there are so few places available. We’re usually full when there are 170 spots too, he says.

– The decision was made with great regret.
Project manager at NRK, Trine sollie, tells Kampanje that they love their audience and that it means a lot to the editorial team to have a full room during Lindmo broadcasts.
– That is why it is with great regret that we have decided to send without an audience this season. Today’s absolutely necessary requirements for infection control are not supported by the 200 viewers present in our studio, but we hope to be able to open the doors again as soon as it is justifiable, he says.
– I have decided to hug myself and I like that the pandemic constantly gives us new conditions to work, and to see limitations as a source of renewal and variety, both for us who make television and for those who watch it, says the presenter. Anne Lindmo to campaign.

– I love filling the room with the audience because it gives so much intense energy in the room – now, with the bleachers empty, we see the opportunity to do even more intense and focused interviews because the guests are not distracted or nervous because the room is full of people. We have made a number of small adjustments to optimize our studio and tailor it precisely to this, and I am absolutely confident that we will be able to deliver a fantastic season, he concludes.
