Former FRP leader Carl I. Hagen is targeting first place on the Storting list for Oppland Frp ahead of next year’s election. At the same time, he is running for election in Oslo.
– I received questions from various members of Oppland Frp. My answer is yes, says Carl I. Hagen to Gudbrandsdølen Dagningen.
It is connected to Oppland through its resort in Lesja, north of Gudbrandsdalen. He tells the newspaper that he will give Oppland Frp his final answer on Wednesday.

– At the same time, I am running as a third-place candidate in Oslo Frp. The simple reasoning is, in short, the need I feel to enter the parliamentary group of the FRP, says Carl I. Hagen.
Morten Ørsal Johansen is the only Oppland Frp representative in the Storting today, but has said he will not seek re-election.

Hagen, 76, was FRP Leader from 1978 to 2006 and Parliamentary Representative from 1981 to 2009. During the current term, he has been Deputy Representative to the Storting for the Oslo FRP.
