NIPH recommends removing the inbound quarantine for various Swedish regions. This applies to Örebro, Gotland, Värmland, Västernorrland, Jämtland and Västerbotten. It is also recommended that the quarantine for Zealand be lifted in Denmark.
According to FHI, it should also be possible to travel to Cyprus, without having to be quarantined when you return home.

At the same time, the NIPH recommends that the government introduce entry quarantines for Italy, Vatican City State, San Marino, and Slovenia.
Both Italy and Slovenia have reported a rapid increase in the number of infection cases in recent weeks. During weeks 34 and 35, Italy had 23.7 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, while Slovenia’s figure was 21.6.
Any changes will take effect from midnight on Saturday, September 5.
FHI is closely monitoring the situation in Slovakia, Estonia and Lithuania, where infection rates are increasing rapidly.
The background of the recommendations
FHI offers an assessment of the infection situation in the EU, EEA and Schengen countries every week. It is the government that makes decisions about which countries are covered by the ten-day entry quarantine.
The criteria for exemption from the quarantine obligation are less than 20 confirmed cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last two weeks. An average of less than 5 percent positive tests per week in the last two weeks is also required. In addition, a general evaluation of the countries is carried out.
