– We are investigating it, it was an interesting situation. You saw the same clip that I saw. He tried to get away from them, it seemed, and fell, and they attacked him very violently.
– He’s under investigation, but I suppose he was in serious trouble and probably would have been killed, but he’s under investigation, said the president.
When asked if he thinks private individuals should take up arms during the riots, the president replied as follows.
“I think the police should take care of that, we have to give our police back their dignity,” Trump said.

The incident has sparked significant discussions on social media. Some believe the 17-year-old acted in self-defense, while others believe he didn’t need to shoot.
