– Your agent controls everything

In a conversation with President Daniel Levy, José Mourino says he is not satisfied with Eriksen’s contribution in the field.

– When we need to hold the ball, he moves it better and the team is a little more fluid. But one thing is the dynamic, another is the extra push it can give the team. He does not. It lacks extra ambition, says Mourinho.

Mourinho will then know where Eriksen is headed, without getting a good response from Levy.

– I do not know. The problem with Christian is that nobody really knows the truth. His agent controls everything, and there is no dialogue between the agent and the club, Levy responds.

The duo agree to make Eriksen a final offer, but to no avail.

The sequence receives extensive coverage in the Danish press, including in Ekstrabladet, which writes about unique details in the Amazon Prime documentary.

On the way away from Inter?

According to Italian Corriere dello Sport, Eriksen’s stay at Inter could end just eight months after it started. Coach Antonio Conte should not be convinced of the Dane’s achievements.

The newspaper also writes that Eriksen can be sold to make room for Arturo Vidal, who will be in talks with Barcelona to terminate the contract.

Eriksen started more games on the bench than on the field for Inter in Serie A last season and finished with a single goal and two assists after 700 minutes of play.
