People from the Police, Civil Defense and the Red Cross have been looking for the man all night. The search operation will intensify on Sunday with more teams, says the leader of the police task in the place, Per Henrik Bykvist.
– We are looking for a man in his 30s. He left the cabin he was in in Vera, a little before 6 p.m. on Saturday night, the task manager tells Adresseavisen. At 23 p.m. on Saturday, the man was reported missing. Bykvist asks local hikers and cabin dwellers to watch out for a man in his 30s in dark clothing and calls the police if they think they may have seen him.
Not dressed for the trip

Police tweeted on Sunday morning at 05.05 about a search operation in Verdal.
– This is a man in his 30s who lived in a cabin. It is said that he left there at 5:45 p.m. on Saturday and since then no one has heard from him. He was then reported missing at 11pm on Saturday night, says operations manager Stig-Roger Olsen in the Trøndelag police district.

– We have tried all these possibilities and so far without result. We will continue the search until we have a result, says operations manager Stig-Roger Olsen.
The Sea King rescue helicopter is connected to the search
Operations manager Olsen says new dog patrols and ground teams will be deployed during the day.
– The fire service helped us last night with a drone, with a thermal or heat search camera call. A little later today, Sunday, Sea King rescue helicopters will also be used in the search, says operations manager Olsen.
The police claim that the person in question was wearing a black t-shirt and mountain pants. The man is 30 years old and probably alone. Police want clues if anyone has seen the person since he left yesterday. And the police receive clues on the 02800 phone.
