Dramatic party in a closed shelter in St. Hanshaugen in Oslo on Sunday night:

– Now there’s no more there. Seven people were found unconscious and taken to Ullevål University Hospital and the emergency room, says Acting Fire Chief Ronny Andersen at the Oslo Fire and Rescue Service to Dagbladet at 07:00.

Police report on twitter at 07:30 that up to 200 people may have been inside the cave party.

Two police officers have had a problem with carbon monoxide in addition to the seven unconscious party participants.

The fire marshal is on the scene at the end of the Colletts gate next to the Uelands gate.

On a slope, a large gang has entered a closed shelter from the old days removing a branch and wooden materials, which have closed the shelter for many years.

In the 20s

– There must have been between 60 and 80 people there, most in their 20s, as we have heard from someone who has been there, says the acting fire marshal.

Half an hour later, the police update that there have been 200 participants of the party inside the cave.

– What we can confirm now is that 24 patients have come to the hospital after this party, says communications consultant Anders Bayer at the Oslo University Hospital to NTB just before 07:00 on Sunday morning.

It cannot provide information on the status of patients. VG writes that the condition is critical for five people.

Aggregates

The cause of the carbon monoxide poisoning inside the cave next to the Lovisenberg hospital seems clear:

– There were two units there, which were used for music systems. The carbon monoxide gets through the fuel exhaust into the units, says the fire marshal.

The rescue service does not have an overview Sunday morning of how the seven who were found unconscious are doing.

Carried out

– They were all found outside. They have been carried out by people who were still on the move, says Acting Fire Chief Ronny Andersen.

At 04:00, a police patrol discovered people with health problems in the vicinity of the opening of the cave, which is located near streets and sidewalks.

According to the police, various types of drugs have been used during the illegal cave party.
