Two people were awakened on Friday night by a car that broke into their home in Skien.
Police describe damage to home as major
– In the house, a large window crashed into the living room. Police are in contact with two people who were in the house and were sleeping when the accident occurred. They are both unharmed but shaken, the Southeast police wrote on Twitter.
For VG, COO Erik Gunnerød says the entire window frame has been pressed, among other things.
The driver was alone in the car and driven to Skien hospital.
“We do tests on the spot and then we have to go to the hospital to try to question the driver of the car,” said the operations manager.

The footprints at the scene indicate that the car was traveling at high speed.

They suspect that the driver was under the influence of narcotics during the trip.
