– I thought it was tough, but obviously I’m not. Coronary prison sucks, says Kristoffer Joner. Watch the video of his new movie from May 17 in Bergen.
In 2016 came the short film “Spasmodic”, shot at Sydnesgaten.
It featured a scene from May 17 that many people recognized, a family who argue and stress before heading out to organize the festivities. But on Facebook they post a photo of a happy family.
A true family movie
Gine Therese Grønner directed the film with herself, her ex-boyfriend Kristoffer Joner and their mutual daughter Téa in front of the camera.

Last year, they made movies about the false happiness of May 17. Now they are dealing with jealousy on Facebook.
In one month, “Spasmodic” had a million visits on various social networking sites.
In 2017 a new short film, “Heart root” arrived, which is about the same family on the Eve of Holiness. This time it was the subject of Facebook’s jealousy.
Now, Grønner has made another film on May 17 in Sydnesgaten with the same three in front of the camera, “Corona Times”, inspired by Culture Minister Abid Raja’s warning that on May 17, all Norwegians should sing ” Yes, we love “at 13:00, regardless where they are.
– While reading this, I began to think about our family already established on May 17. How will they deal with such a situation? It soon became a little script. Kristoffer got on the bus in Stavanger and we were on the move, says Grønner.
– We put it at the forefront
Experienced cinema people like Njål Lambrechts (photo), Øyvind Rydland (sound) and Mats Andersen (rating) joined the team. And with one of the country’s most used film actors in front of the camera, the path was short to end.
– Kristoffer is raw in front of the camera. We know each other well, even in a recording situation. So we can work together effectively. But we are also a bit lazy in the snippet and laugh a lot at the recordings, says Grønner.

– Many people feel that habits and traditions are currently changing. And the movie shows how our family of small movies relates to her on National Day. We put it at the forefront, but I think many will recognize themselves, says Grønner.
She says her father uses the chaos of the crown to escape demands and expectations, while his mother really just wants to have a good time with her poorest and closest people.
It can be father and colleague
Kristoffer Joner has several film projects that are on hold due to the crown. And he is not very happy with the situation.
– No one knows shit about when we start again. I’ve been in the asthma and COPD risk group, so I’ve been in many. Fortunately, I got the last sound job on the television series “Machinery” the day before Norway closed, says Joner.
He thinks it is fun working with his boyfriend and daughter, who is now 16 years old.
– Therese is the brain behind. She is good at taking situations on the grain, that on May 17, we always have bad times and wander. So for me, it’s actually just a job. But it’s fun to work with Téa, then. Here I can be a dad and a colleague. There was a lot of laughter, says Joner.
