– Today we have decided that several EEA citizens who could normally enter Norway can now travel here again. This means that more members of the family of EEA citizens, and EEA citizens who are members of the family of Norwegian citizens, can now travel to Norway, writes Justice Minister Monica Mæland in an email to VG.

In addition, the Ministry opens the possibility for family members who have not previously resided here to come to Norway. The change in regulation will take effect immediately.

Furthermore, EEA citizens who own real estate in Norway, including a holiday home, and who must visit it, can enter the country, writes VG.

The Minister of Justice emphasizes that the quarantine rules still apply. Everyone traveling to Norway must comply with the quarantine regulations in force at all times.
