The government today released a new Sports Protection Guide for Sports, with an emphasis on children’s and youth sports that involve physical contact, such as soccer.

A new assessment of the pre-summer infection situation is planned. The Norwegian Sports Federation has summarized this afternoon the new supervisor, where these are some of the most important points:

  • The number of people in regular training should not exceed 20 people. This applies both outdoors and indoors. Everyone must keep at least a meter away.

This means that handball can be practiced to a greater extent as long as the rules of good hand hygiene are maintained before and after the use of common equipment.

– It is very good for Norwegian handball that we are now allowed to practice handball, be together and cultivate the community a little in practice. Also, it’s great that we can start throwing the ball, which is essential for handball, says handball president Kåre Geir Lio to NTB.

But also in the handball rule at least one meter of distance applies, with the exception of children up to the fourth grade.
