Just before 17 o’clock, police say the fire department has control of the fire in Farsund in Agder.
The fire started in a garage before the associated house caught fire.
– Then it caught fire on the ground around the house, and to be safe we have evacuated the neighboring house, operations manager Vidar Arnesen in the Agder police district tells TV 2.
Soon after, the police stated that one more house was being evacuated.
The house and garage where the fire started have caught fire.
No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
– Those who belong to the burning house have been outside, says Arnesen.
The fire department still has no control over the fire.
“Until they are in control, we keep in mind that there may still be a proliferation risk,” says the operations manager.
It is currently unclear how the fire started.
– Police are working with witnesses at the scene, Agder Police District writes on Twitter.
