The Meteorological Institute has issued a yellow alert warning about Nordland, Troms and the coastal and fjord regions in Finnmark.
According to the warning, snow will settle on the roads of the most intense cities, both in the lowlands and in the mountains.

– Although it is not yet the great spring feeling here in the north, many have changed the tires. So it is important to leave the car in the snow if there is snow on the ground. – West Finnmark receives the highest amount of wind on Monday night, facing the breeze and the storm. We currently do not have a wind gust warning there, but local wind gusts may occur, Borander says.
A yellow snow warning has also been issued in Sogn and Fjordane, Møre og Romsdal and Trøndelag.
May 17 weather
When it comes to the weather for National Day in the north, forecasts are currently uncertain.
– We have quite certain forecasts until Friday, but it will be for the weekend of May 17.
