The meetings between them must have been about cryptocurrency-related business activities, reports NRK. At least one of them must have taken place in Hagen’s work.

NRK also has other documentation supporting the meetings between the 70-year-old billionaire and the 30-year-old cryptomaniac. The meetings between the two defendants have been questioned.

Both defendants have been released from the police after the Court of Appeal did not grant the police that they could imprison Tom Hagen for four weeks.

Tom Hagen was surprised

Tom Hagen learned of the accomplice’s arrest when he read it in the media on Friday, after he escaped from custody, his advocate says.

“I was very surprised by the arrest of the man,” defense attorney Svein Holden of the Hjort law firm told NRK.

– What type of connection do the two have?

– He himself says he doesn’t have at least one connection as the police think, says Holden.

– What do you think the police emphasize this relationship so strongly?

– It gives me reason to think about how the police handle this case, and I also notice what the new detainee says through his defender. And it would be terrible if it turns out to be a completely innocent person, Holden says.

NRK has asked Holden a series of questions about Tom Hagen’s meetings with his colleagues. Holden does not want to comment.

Attorney Dag Svensson represents the accused man in his 30s.

“He believes it is as absurd to be accused of kidnapping as it is to be accused of murder, so there is no change for him, it is still a serious charge,” Svensson told NRK.

Svensson was asked about the client’s meetings with Hagen, but does not want to comment on this.

So far, the police have answered NRK’s questions about the meetings between the two defendants.

Ten days on mobile

Police seized the garden on April 28 as he was on his way to his workplace. After the District Court, the Court of Appeal and finally the Supreme Court processed the appeal, Hagen was released after ten days.

Police wanted to arrest Tom Hagen again after release. However, the state attorney said no.
