The Eastern Police District continues the investigation after Tom Hagen was released from jail on Friday. The 70-year-old man is still charged with murder or complicity in the murder of his wife Anne-Elisabeth.

Tom Hagen’s lawyer Svein Holden tells TV 2 that the police searched the house in Sloraveien and the cabin in Kvitfjell.

– Police are conducting a so-called third party search of Sloraveien 4 and the booth in Kvitfjell. I’m not sure if they have access to it, says Holden.

Don’t move home

According to the lawyer, the police say there are several reasons to suspect.

– But the court says no. Police say there are several reasons why the murder was committed there, and therefore he must enter, Holden continues.

Tom Hagens’ advocate Svein Holden says his client was relieved on Friday that he was released, after being jailed since Tuesday of last week.

Holden claims that Tom Hagen wants to move home, but that the police will not allow it due to the records.

The Eastern Police District tells TV 2 that they will not comment.

When Tom Hagen was released from Oslo prison on Friday afternoon, the police wanted to arrest him again. But the state attorney said no, state attorney general Kirsti Guttormsen confirmed to NRK on Saturday morning.

He appealed the decision

On Thursday, it emerged that the Court of Appeal did not believe there was reasonable cause to suspect that Tom Hagen had done something punishable and therefore should be released.

– In the majority opinion, several of the evidence that the prosecution has cited as the basis for the suspicion corroborate to a small extent the charge of murder or complicity in the murder, indicates the order.

Police appealed the decision to the Supreme Court, which spent much of Friday working on the case. In the Supreme Court ruling on Friday afternoon, the prosecution’s appeal was rejected.

Just after 5:30 p.m. On Friday afternoon, defendant Svein Holden left the Oslo prison with his client Tom Hagen by car.
