Tromsøbadet reports it on his Facebook pages.
In connection with the maintenance work carried out while the toilet has been closed to the public, leaks have been discovered in the large 50-meter pool.
On the Facebook page, Tromsøbadet writes:
«It works for. now with the location of the fault, which means we have to drain the water in the pool. Then you can start rectifying mistakes right away. Unfortunately, this is taking time, and it is unlikely that we can have the 50 meter pool ready by June 15. “
The new guidelines for infection control mean that organized swimming in swimming pools will be allowed from June 1 and, from June 15, it will be open for swimming to the public.
Trying to find the leak
Therefore, you will hardly swim in the largest pool, which is the only 50-meter competition pool in northern Norway.
For NRK, the manager of the municipality’s development section, Øystein Dale, says that it is a meticulous job to find the leak in the pool that contains more than five million liters of water. It is also not the first time that the large pool has leaked water, even before Tromsøbadet opened, leaks were found, where more than 50,000 liters of water per day were depleted.
– We are working on the same methodology now as then. We touch step by step to eliminate where there are no leaks. We just have to work that way to find out where it is, says NRK.
