NRK first wrote that there was an addition in Norwegian, Schram wrote his comment. In her Linkedin profile, she says that she is a former employee of the company and works in Norwegian until December 2019.

On Friday, the CEO of the Norwegian airline, Jacob Schram, sent a letter to his employees on the Linkedin social network.

In the letter to employees, which he posted on his Linkedin profile, he says the company is likely ready to delay some flights in Norway until March 2021.

As of today, Norwegian has only seven planes on the wings.

Linkedin can be compared to a professional version of Facebook, and is mainly used to build networks and communicate in a work context.

After the Norwegian chief posted the letter online, several other staff members voiced their opinions.

Thousands of employees who have been banned from Norwegian’s email and computer system are told they can volunteer in a “talent pool.”

There, those who want to be informed about future developments and can be contacted if the company is going to recruit again, says the letter signed by Jacob Schram.

In the discussion thread on Schram’s Linkedin page, there was a heated debate after the letter was published.

A British woman who was previously supposed to have a job as a cabin crewman comments in the post that the company’s behavior is “disrespectful to all British employees who don’t know what will happen to them.”

When Schram responds, he writes among others:

– If you are not satisfied with what we do, I suggest you find another airline to work for.

Jacob Schram answers an added one.

Schram’s response was published last night and deleted earlier today.

No one in Norwegian wants to interview future court proceedings at the company, but Jacob Schram comments on the Linkedin word exchange in an email to NRK.

Schram writes:

“I have deleted wording that I think might be noisy, it never made sense.”

Schram says employees must be aware of the challenges facing the company:

“My clear message that I have communicated to everyone in Norwegian is that it is heartbreaking that so many excellent colleagues lose their jobs or have been laid off. It is brutal, but we have to look at the reality of the eye. There is no safe haven for any of us. “

Before the email ends:

“We did not survive without income, and therefore we have no choice but to cut costs. This means that we cannot exclude people who do not work. I look forward to meeting with union representatives on Monday. “

NRK has contacted the Norwegian Cabins Association unions on the matter. Tenant René-Charles Gustavsen writes that they do not wish to comment on the matter.

Alf Wilhelm Hansen, a tenant of the Norwegian pilots says the union would prefer not to comment on the matter.
