Police, air ambulance and other emergency services moved at 12 o’clock to a car accident in Måvangen in Eidsvoll.
– There, a woman in her 40s fell from a horse and struck what is probably a tree stump. The woman was picked up in an air ambulance and transported to the Oslo University Hospital Ullevål, reports operations manager Trond Lorentzen in the eastern police district.
The operations manager says they have received information from the doctor in the ambulance:
– From there, it is stated that the woman does not suffer fatal injuries, but rather has severe back pain and respiratory problems. Now he will receive more treatment in hospitals, says the operations manager.
Police say they view the incident as an accident, which is not the subject of further investigation.
