The images show a princess of different ages, until she was half a year old.
Private photos
It is common for new images of Danish royalty to be shared on the occasion of their birthday. They did this when the twins Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine turned nine in January.
Even when Queen Margaret turned 80 last week, the monarch shared several portraits.
Now it is Princess Isabella, the second youngest daughter of Crown Princess Mary (48) and Crown Prince Frederick (51), her turn to be praised by the family.
On the King’s Instagram account, they write the following:
“It is the 13th birthday of Her Royal Highness Princess Elizabeth, and this time it is a pleasure for the Crown Prince couple to share a new image of the Princess. The Crown Prince couple also points out that Princess Elizabeth is now a teenager , by publishing four private photos of the life of his royal highness ”.
Until now it is uncertain how the adolescent celebration will take place, now that it will not be possible for the whole family to get together.
The photos of the birthday boy have received a great response on, among other things, Instagram, where congratulations have entered the comment field.
Awake
When Queen Margaret celebrated her birthday last week, several new portraits of the monarch were shared over several days. Multiple images showed three generations of heirs to the throne: Queen Margaret, Crown Prince Frederik (51), and future Crown Prince Christian (14).
However, the portraits were not received as they might have expected.
Some believed that the photographer, Per Morten Abrahamsen, made a dynamic little royal family. The photos were simply made for someone’s taste.
Among those responding was Danish royal house expert Søren Jakobsen, who thought the photographer was too honored for the task.
– I know Abrahamsen, who is a super photographer, but these images are a bit stiff. He has been too honored by the task, and is a bit out of what he usually does. He has photographed many prominent businessmen, where he has approached them. He doesn’t add much to the actual portrait photo here, he told Ekstra Bladet.
