“71 degrees north”: – These are this year’s participants in “71 degrees north”

“71 degrees north” enters its 22nd season and therefore aims to put the participants to the test in harsh hiking conditions.

In the last ten years, the show has also had its own version of celebrities, which is recorded at the time of writing. Among the influences are Isabel Raad (26), presenter Vår Staude (54) and photographer Per Heimly (48).

In a short time, more precisely in October, it will be ready for expedition number 22, and on that occasion, the twelve participants of this year will be released.

Two reality profiles must participate

It will probably come as a surprise to many that the two reality show contestants Mario Riera and Helene Hima will be spotted in the upcoming “71 degrees north” season. As mentioned, they have both been to Ex on the Beach before, but Riera has also been seen in “Paradise Hotel”.

Headlines created

Hima made headlines in the national press both during her participation and afterwards. Among other things, she faced Frank Løke (40) at the See and Hear 40th anniversary celebration in September 2018, which the press captured.

A couple of months later, she was in the music video for Løke, when she decided to release a Christmas song.

– I like the attention, so it’s been fun here. I’ve been with Frank in various contexts, but now we don’t talk much together. There is nothing between us, he told Dagbladet in 2018.

Riera, for her part, received a lot of attention for her relationship with the reality profile and influences of Sofie Karlstad. The two found love inside the hotel, but the relationship ended in November of last year.

He previously stated that he was glad that he dared to join “Hotel Paradise” even though he has had health problems.

Riera has ulcerative colitis, a chronic inflammatory disease that affects the rectum and lower colon. He was diagnosed when he was 17 and has chosen to be open about it to reduce the taboo around the disease.

– After sharing the blog post about my illness, I have been able to show that it is something that many people can suffer from and it was nice to have that opportunity. There has also been a lot of attention around the topic and the post, and I haven’t really received any negative comments, just understanding and gratitude that I have shared.
