The number of patients on a ventilator is the same as on Saturday, according to updated figures from the Norwegian Health Directorate.
Three of them receive respiratory treatment at Health South-East, while one receives respiratory treatment at Health Central Norway.
44 of corona patients are hospitalized in Health South-East healthcare region, ten are hospitalized in Health West, five are hospitalized in Health Central Norway and four are hospitalized in Health North.
The number of hospitalized patients is still much lower than this spring. On April 1, which is the day the most corona patients were registered, it was 325. Then the number of hospitalized patients decreased until mid-September. Since then, the number of patients with a crown has steadily increased.
At midnight, 20,330 corona-infected people had been registered in this country so far this year, according to preliminary figures. This is an increase of 269 in the last 24 hours, according to figures from the National Infectious Disease Notification System (MSIS).
The number of people being tested for coronavirus in Norway has risen sharply since the first wave of infections in March.
So far, 282 krone deaths have been recorded in Norway.
