The police have opened a case for violation of infection control rules.
Oslo police wrote on Twitter Thursday night that they are opening a case after 28 people had gathered at a location in Ensjø in Oslo.

Operations manager Per Ivar Iversen tells Nettavisen that the 28 were meeting to watch soccer.
– It was a group of adults who had gotten together to watch a soccer game in a room like where no one is going to meet now, Iversen tells Nettavisen.
At first, it all seemed to be a youth club, but it wasn’t true. The room that was used must have had nothing to do with the youth club, and those who gathered here were adults happy about football.

In November, the Oslo police made it clear that failure to comply with infection control rules can be punished with fines of up to 20,000 crowns. The fines will be increased in the event of repeated non-compliance or other aggravating circumstances. That same month, the organizer of a private party where there was to be a large number of attendees was fined a fine of 10,000 crowns.
– Now a case is being created on this, and then it is up to the lawyers to see what reactions it gets, Iversen tells Nettavisen.
