28 newly infected in Trondheim: new record for second day in a row

The Municipality of Trondheim states in a press release that the 28 who have been diagnosed with coronary artery disease in the past 24 hours have a mild course of the disease.

20 of them have known close contacts, infection detection is ongoing for six of those infected and for two the source of infection has not yet been found.

Among those who have been diagnosed with the virus, no one is over the age of 60, according to the Trondheim municipality.

During the day, 1,695 crown tests were carried out in the municipality.

There were 24 corona cases in Trondheim on Thursday, which have had very little infection in recent weeks. Now it seems to be turning around.

The municipality of Trondheim recalls in Friday’s press release from the national infection control councils.

– We emphasize that there is a strong recommendation to limit the number of social contacts you have during a week to a maximum of ten people. People in the risk group should be very careful and try to stay at least six feet from people they do not live with.

On Thursday, the municipality also recommended that the population wear face masks in public spaces, both indoors and in densely populated areas outdoors.
