Digital teaching

NTNU was first notified of the infection on Monday. On Wednesday a new warning came. The students were quarantined after the first warning.

The university is now facilitating digital teaching at NTNU.

– What has been decided is that students in quarantine have the right to adapted education. Then it will be digital teaching, says Forbord.

Forbord says the students understand the situation well.

– Students are well aware of the situation around the pandemic. They understand why it has to be this way. But days of digital teaching without meeting other students on campus can be tough in the long run.

Infection in restaurants

Trondheim has experienced several cases recently. Many have been quarantined.

In the Lille London nightclub, 800 people were quarantined last week. The reason was that an infected person had visited the bar.

The municipality is concerned. They have reported people going abroad and choosing to go directly to work when they return home without being quarantined.

– It’s terribly selfish. It’s one thing to get sick, but they can infect vulnerable groups, so it can have major consequences, Trondheim municipality health and welfare director Garåsen told NRK earlier this week.

New infected in Trondheim

On Thursday, the municipality confirms that four new people have been infected.

One is a student at NTNU. The other three people have made a trip abroad in red countries. Two are over 30 years old and one is 20 years old.

1,153 people were screened for coronary heart disease on Wednesday.
