Police had earlier given her verdict, but her family questioned the findings, saying she had never volunteered before.
Malaysia launched an investigation into the death in August at the request of the family, with the action online online flow due to colonovirus restrictions.
The court on Monday ruled that no one was involved in Quirin’s death and that it was more likely he was lost in the jungle.
“It was more likely that his death was caused by an accident …” Coroner Memunah Ade told the court.
“It would be a breach of my duty to assume his conjecture and to assume his involvement and third party involvement without any evidence so the investigation is closed from here.”
The family’s attorney did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Her parents, Sebastian and Mev Koirin, appeared proud of the court proceedings as they read the verdict.
One of about 50 witnesses who testified at the interrogation, her mother Mevhe said she believed her daughter could be abducted and accused authorities of not taking her concerns seriously.
However police said there was no evidence that Koirein was abducted and insisted their investigation was complete.
