In an earlier interview with Variety, the actor discussed the video app in short form as he began to acknowledge for his online presence instead of his acting career.

‘I love being online because I feel like you can just be yourself and it’s so easy to open up. “I just love social media because it’s just being on a screen with all these people,” he said. You see no one, so it’s easy to open up and have fun and not worry about what other people think. TikTok in particular is just so casual and very indiscriminate. “

Schnapp added: “It’s one big joke inside and everyone understands it. It’s crazy to see how everyone can come together collectively and agree and decide on things to do.”
