No, Zelda: Breath Of The Wild 2 voice work is not complete

GameXplain has done some research and apparently the original interview was poorly translated. Voice actors Navarro and Nerea Alfonso were joking about the level of secrecy surrounding the game, and they weren’t even allowed to confirm or deny if they’ll be back. Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2.

Original story [Mon 6th Jul, 2020 11:15 BST]: In addition to some job openings published towards the end of last year, we have hardly heard anything about the upcoming sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild since it was first revealed over a year ago.

Now, however, it seems that an update on the development of the game may have accidentally come online thanks to an interview with Marc Navarro and Nerea Alfonso, the voice actors behind the Spanish dubbing of Revali and Zelda.

As reported by Gamereactor, the couple has noticed that their work on the new game was already done in a conversation with the Spanish podcast ‘A Coffee With Nintendo’. Interestingly, the two went on to say that they were unsure whether or not they should have disclosed that information.

If this is really the case, that suggests that work on the game may be much closer to completion than we originally thought. We could, of course, assume that the plot and dialogue of the game have been fully written and written, that localization has also been completed, at least in the European territories, and that localized dubbing has already been established. It would also confirm that Revali is ready to return in the game, which is good.

As soon as Nintendo breathes the words ‘Breath of the Wild 2’ in any official capacity in the future, we will make sure to update it as soon as possible. We hope we don’t have to wait long before that day arrives.
