A story is floating that 500,000 BDS-up Giff Geras RTX 30 series graphics cards were found in a shipping container – lost during shipment, but the story is not known to B.S.
Geeknetic.es first reported the story which is placed in Google Translation when it came out that Samsung subsidiary port warehouse worker found a box with the NVIDIA logo somewhere in South Korea. The employee noted that the shipment was not on any port record.
The employee himself was trying to buy a Force RTX 30 series graphics card and after seeing hundreds of boxes of NVIDIA products, “Just added to my frustration of not getting one“.
“The RTX 3070, 3080 and 3090 are still hard to find. Strong demand, extremely long production cycles, and shortages favored by the global epidemic do not make things easy. The good news, though, is that the South Korean port operator has just received a lost shipment of 500,000 GeForce RTX 3000 cards!“
Once the news set the Internet on fire, the original author added: “This is a fake news story created and published in celebration of Holy Innocent Day in Spain on 28 December. Its content is inaccurate and has been created with a satirical intent. We hope you enjoy reading it“.
Sigh.
