Nintendo is aware of the Game Mario bug that breaks the game and will solve the problems as soon as possible

Last week, a groundbreaking mistake was discovered in Paper Mario: The Origami King, who had the ability to completely “Destroy” a player’s save and progress around 20-30 hours on his adventure.

As we explained earlier, the error is related to the area where you visit four spas in the Shangri-Spa area to gain access to a fifth secret spa:

The problem is that once the NPC that protects the entrance requests to see the membership card required to enter, it is completely removed from your inventory, so if you leave the area for any reason, you will no longer be able to access because you do not have the membership card, nor does the NPC remember taking it from you; It is also not possible to get a replacement.

However, there is no need to worry, as Nintendo has heard about the problem and is working on an immediate solution. Polygon received confirmation of this from an official company representative:

“We are aware of reports of problems affecting some players in Paper Mario: The Origami King. We are working to resolve these issues and plan to address them in a software update. We apologize for any inconvenience.”

There’s no exact information on when this software update will arrive, but given Nintendo’s recent response time for glitches Animal Crossing: New Horizons and several other titles of our own, we shouldn’t have to wait too long.
