Nintendo Gigaleak validates the myth of Super Mario 64 Luigi, fans are delighted

But still, fans have largely focused on the original version of the game, where, perhaps, mysteries still abound.

Well, in 2020, it seems like everyone who resisted this seemingly dead myth turned out to be Right. The recent Nintendo Gigaleak, which contains classic game development repositories, has Super mario 64 files no one has ever seen before. And inside is a group of files related to the green plumber. L was real the whole time, and the Internet is losing its mind in response.

Also, video game players are using the files contained in Gigaleak to try to recreate Luigi, as he would have appeared if Nintendo had fully implemented the character. I’ve been following, and seeing people try and Luigi frankenstein in-game in real time has been a bewildering experience. The first attempts seemed like an experiment that went wrong.

Finally, the fans succeeded in their endeavor. The final result, although historical, is not so interesting to see, because it looks exactly the way you would expect. But still, fans are having fun with the model they’ve started and rebuilt from the Gigaleak.
