Kanye visited the Nintendo booth during that E3 and was also able to spend some time with Shigeru Miyamoto. He then requested a meeting with Reggie, and the two ended up meeting in Kanye’s office fees in Calabasas, California.“Part of it was talking about what he was doing,” Reggie explained. He was experimenting with part of the video game content; He wants a reaction to it. He comes out and says, ‘I want to work with Nintendo.’
“We had a lot of different projects going on at Nintendo, there was no possibility of doing anything with Kanye, and so I humbly turned down the opportunity to work with him. I told him, ‘Kanye, you work with us. Don’t want to because we’re tough, we’re tough. What we do is push for very good content. We’re not the type of partner you want to work with. ‘And he looks at me and says,’ Reggie, you’re a willing spouse for the same reason! ‘ It’s like, ‘Oh gosh.’
Reggie said the meeting was not only interesting, but also Kim Kardashian-West. While the project never saw the light of day, both Reggie and Nintendo felt that “Kanye has such a passion for video game space, and is a creator.”The Virgo’s history with games goes even further than this one meeting, as she revealed that she was only working on a single-name game in which players guide her mother Donda to “hold her in the light and lead her to the highest gates of heaven.” When he announced the project in 2015, very little news has been published about it since then.
