Nick Saban receives strong endorsement from former Alabama DB

Once you are part of the Crimson Tide, you ride the stream forever.

That’s the kind of thoughtful mindset that Alabama head coach Nick Saban boasts of current and past team members.

It doesn’t matter if you played with him a year or seven ago, Saban will still find time to contact his players.

He did exactly that on Thursday, when former Alabama defender John Fulton shared in a post on his Twitter page how grateful he was that Saban contacted him and his family seven years after graduating from college.

“I haven’t touched a soccer ball in 7 years and Saban is still spreading,” reads Fulton’s post, “check my parents out and it’s a HELL from a job reference hahaha.”

A four-star recruit from Manning, SC, Fulton played with Saban from 2010-13, where he served on two national championship teams.

In his four years with the team, he recorded 44 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, 0.5 sacks and nine pass deflections.
