Reacting to what has happened in the games on the 12th Sunday afternoon of the week and behaving beyond that …
Things that make me giddy
Derrick Henry Deja Vu: The Titans regain the AFC South lead with a decisive win in the Indy, as they carry seventeen 178 yards and 3 TDs. This time Henry was not waiting for the second half; 140 yards and all three of his touchdowns came before halftime, putting Tennessee in a 35-14 lead. From Week 10 and the last two seasons (including playoffs), over 12 games: 296 carry, 1,756 rushing yards (146.3 per game), 16 TD.
Mohams to Tyrick: It’s a pick-me-up view of your poison, and it’s one thing to pay more attention to Travis Kells than to Tyrick Hill. But that’s another thing that would appear to be completely unprepared for Hill’s pace and Mohams ’hands. Hill had 269 and 13 catches for three touchdowns (75, 44 and 20 yards) – and closed the game right with a third-down catch in a very impressive performance.
Brady got a little deep ball: It was still an under-performing performance from the Bucks offense, but Brad D shot Rob Gronkowski downfield seam, hit Chris Godwin on the hit nada post and found Mike Evans on the 9th and 4th for a long touchdown. Downfield accuracy isn’t its strength, but it’s not as problematic as it has been in the past week.
Debo Samuel Returns: Injuries have limited him to five games this season, including a hamstring injury that cost him the previous four. Returning against LA on Sunday, he returned to his reckless self with 11 catches for 134 yards, including a crucial third-down catch-and-run of 24 and another short catch on the final drive to establish a game-winning field. Was returned. The goal.
McLean gets Kyle Shanah back: With another upset win over the Rams, Shahnahan’s 49ers have now won four straight over McVeigh Rams. It may not get them back in the postson sun (although the way the Cardinals are playing, the door is open), but it spoils LA’s run for the division title pretty well.
The buffalo protection slick up: It was a rocky first part of the season for Sean McDermott’s group, but in their first game since the bye, they caught Justin Herbert under scrutiny in 2020 – the only major passing of football’s biggest big-drama offense in 2020 with only one passing. Yards went by, and it was Hale Marie in the final seconds of a 10-point game. The day Josh Allen was not there, the defense was there to grant him bail. That’s the magic of complementary football.
Better Baker: It was wild on a couple of red-zone gimmicks (how could that be – this could be completely thrown into the net During Senior Bowl practice Meaning nothing?!?!), So much remains to be done. But, overall, Mayfield had a better performance in Jacksonville than we are seeing in May 2020.
Vintage Stefan Gilmore: The ruling defensive player of the Encore season of the year could not be more memorable, but he went toe-to-toe with Dendre Hopkins on Sunday and got the best of the match (Hopkins had five catches for 55 yards, pulled a holding penalty. End zone and pass interference in both The fine was offset by the Hopkins-only flag salute.)
Jeremy Chin: Like a young Chris Carter, he just touches down. I don’t have time to research it, but I’m guessing two fumble-return TDs in a 10-second period for the Panthers Rookie is a record.
Joy Bosa is on the face of Josh Allen: Bosa was dominant in Orchard Park, with three sacks (although one was free due to blown safety) and a third and shorter design with Allen’s stuff on the run.
The Bengals themselves teach the judge the true meaning of special teams: Cincinnati received Brandon Wilson’s 103-yard kickoff return TD and a 20-year fake punt conversion in the third quarter, due to the need for some answers with Brandon Allen under center. When Alex returned the 29-yard pint to Ericsson, he gave the ball two points at 50 with two seconds left before Ellen was kicked off the bar. But in the end, they had a chance to beat the Giants despite being ahead 386-155.
Jabal Shird saves Christmas: After a long punt return brought the Bengals into a game-winning field-goal game of one-two, P Journey saved the Giants and their place at the top of the NFC East with a strip-bag of Brandon Len Lawn.
Possession of Aaron Donald The offense struggled and the Rams faced an 11-point deficit at the end of the third quarter, when Donald knocked down Rahim Mostert in the backfield and pushed him to the goal, and picked up a sack on the next possession. It was soon followed by a go-ahead touchdown. TJ has a compelling case on Watt, but Donald is the defensive player of the current year.
Frank Gore’s Sisyphean afternoon: Twenty-one touches for 86 yards as the Jets lead back.
Jason Sanders joins League of F: The Dolphins kicker is attached to the East Rutherford and from and y1 yards, making it 10 straight out of the 500, including 8-for-including this season.

Sorry
My Daniel Jones: Abracadaniel lengthened after contactless injury, tried to come back but her first attempt at a pass did not pass in the past. If it’s healthy, the Giants are your favorite at NFC East. If it’s not, and it’s Colt McCoy’s time for Big Blue, find a three-sided coin and flip it over.
It goes far beyond riders: They’ve grown all season – they don’t currently have horses on defense. But upset by the closeness of the chiefs, they came out as flat as they could in Atlanta and never went back into it. They are now on the outside looking to the AFC wild-card race.
What the Broncos had to do on quarterback: No team should be formed again. One-time Wake Forest QB, Kendall Hint finished 1-for-9 for 13 yards and two interceptions. The Broncos had a 112-yard offense. His one scoring drive was four plays for one yard, resulting in a 58-yard field stop.
Chargers Clock Management: With the clock ticking at the end of the first hour and the ball with 300 seconds left on the midfield, they burned their final timeout before the fourth-short and moved on to Pont, which is a way to do things. At the end of the game, with the clock running below 10 and no timeout, they came to the ball inside Bill 5 after Hale Mary and tried to run it. They didn’t score, and the clock ran from 24 seconds to six, effectively ending the game.
Zen Gonzalez again comes small in the big moment: We missed him a potential game-winner against Seattle (before making one later after overtime) and came up short of 49 on a potential game-tying kick lost to Miami. In Foxborough on Sunday, the cards’ backward kicker missed a 45-run lead in the final two minutes, the game came to a close and immediately Nick Fock had a chance to win by 50.
Tampa Safety: Didn’t they know that Tyrick Hill is fast?
Anthony Castanzo goes below: The Colts run a nice line when it comes to O-line injuries; Philip Rivers needs impeccable protection, and an injury to Castanzo’s MCL could cost him pretty well in which the couple can’t lose the sports indie. When Castanzo missed a game earlier this season, Le-Raven Clarke was burned by Miles Garrett in Cleveland’s defeat.
Related to Jared Goff: You can probably forgive those two interruptions, which came under tremendous pressure. Goff continued to fight when Goe skipped the schedule. They can’t put on as much defense as he has.
An op-ed Josh Allen: The Chargers took big plays, as Ellen had only one completion for more than 14 yards (although Lennon and Stephen Diggs flagged an early interception of 47 yards). It forced an interference into trouble, more than the interruptions alone indicated, and lost its grip on the exchange. If Bill hadn’t stepped up to his best performance of the defense season, the upset against the Buffalo Chargers would have been appropriate for the home. I believe in the last 16 months I’ve said it almost 4 million times: Josh Allen is great, but Streaky.
Bill’s Hail Mary Defense: This did not cost them, but in a game after a heartbreaker in Arizona they allowed a y 53-yard Hale Mary TD, erased by an offensive pass interference, allowing 55 yards short of the final zone on the next play.
A Handy Rock Kya-Sin: The Colts’ second-year corner, which was fined for missing two third-down stops during the Titans’ touchdown drive in the second quarter, was a long day for the Colts’ second-year corner.
Joy Sly Heartbreak from 54: It’s a tradition unlike anyone else: the Panthers kicker is trying to target a potential game-winning field from anywhere between “too long” and “absurdly long”. He landed a very long set in Minnesota and widened it to the left for a mile.
Please, take Flex away from Alex Camp’s crew: No officer-employee throws more phantom flags, especially after the play. The flag of unorganized behavior on Zack Moss – apparently dropping the ball after a long period of time and turning to Barry Sanders-style – shows a complete lack of human etiquette. Someone on Park Avenue, please, stop the madness.
Missing Deforest Buckner: With his Defensive Player of the Year nominee on the COVID list, Colt felt like a different defense on Sunday.
Josh Jacobs lives dangerously: He’s a terrific player, and this is quite a collision, but he’s something that’s about to come out of his treasury (and he was, in fact, marked for lowering the helmet and starting contact). It was that afternoon for Atlanta for the Jacobs, where he ran seven times for 27 yards and lost a smoker on which he ankle.
CBS Game Management: Not sure if the end of the Titans-Colts blowout was announced soon after, following an extended run of commercials as to why they didn’t air the opening drive of the Chiefs-Bucks game. But by Larsen Nissan disease advertising has a larger audience demand than I can understand.

Moments we will tell about our grandchildren
Patriot’s goal-line stand: You might be wondering how the P ve team used to play for the Super Bowls will react in the final week of the lost season. This goal-line is postponed to fourth place by the end of the first phase – the chronically underrated Lawrence paves the way for Guy Ja’haun Bentley – replied.

What we’ll talk about this week
Tessam Hill Just Fine: How would he look if he fell behind the saints in the second part? We probably won’t find it this season.
Cliff Kingsbury’s worst month: “How do you go 5-7 with Patrick Mahoms as your quarterback?” You ask Maybe this season will provide the answer to your question. Despite having a defense this season, continuing to move forward without his best player (198 yards allowed and two tackways at Foxborough), the Cardinals have been repeatedly beaten by much less talented teams. If not for Hale Mary two weeks ago, the Cardinals would be in the sub-500 and between four-game defeats, and we’d be wondering if it’s time to change the regime in Arizona.
Send Sam Darnold to Pittsburgh: Let him sit for a couple of years behind a pe te, like, like Darnold, the play-thing doesn’t do the thing.
How the NFC will win the East Race: Washington’s strategy is interesting. The minute they went with Dwayne Huckens with Alex Smith they made a statement that they were going through a crime. If this were a 100-yard dash, the football team would have decided that they would sit on the starting line and trust that the other three runners would break their Achilles before reaching the finish line. Daniel Jones Going down now, that strategy will really work. (Even if Jones is healthy, the Giants are a favorite.)
Books + AB: Tampa, 6-2 and running a three-game winning streak a few weeks ago, is now 1-3- 1-3 as they add Antonio Brown to the roster you really feel for them. However, we wrap up the Sunday afternoon action, enjoy the choice of these musical instruments for a special reason …
