Today is a very important date on the calendar! U.S. It’s election day so go out and vote if you don’t already have one.
Oh, and the 2020 NFL trade deadline is set for Eastern today at 4:00 p.m. Will we see any meaningful action that will be a quiet news cycle due to the Covid-19 complications?
Either way, we’ll post this Philadelphia Eagles and related league-wide news in this NFL trade rumors tracker. The latest updates will be posted at the top.
Updates
[2:00 PM ET] – Pretty quiet day in terms of rumors, you might say! But we have this NFL insider Mike Gerafolo: “There are reports and difficulties on both sides – that the Eagles will become active sellers and active buyers. I tell you, with a few hours left here, I expect the Eagles won’t do either. Well, I’ll put it to you like this: Nothing big will happen there. What the Eagles do can still be a small move. But Howie Roseman, he has to run a line here, he’s in a delicate spot. Things haven’t been perfect and he’s been talking since last year about re-stocking the roster, hoping to do it by draft. He always checks things. I think he was looking to see if he had the ability to compile some pick type to land some guys or get someone at some bargain rate. So, the Eagles got involved in as many conversations as ever. And I think that led to a lot of rumors. But I don’t expect much action. Nothing definite from the Eagles based on conversations I had with some sources. ”
[8:42 AM ET] – If you missed the weekend, the Eagles are still listening to Jeffrey’s (shocking!) Offers. They were also listening to offers fur for Zach Ertz and De Sean Jackson, now they can’t be traded for being on the injured reserve. Eagle has reportedly made Will Parks available.
